The hotel offers magnificent Mt. Fuji views from well-appointed rooms with in-room sento bath. The rooms are standard with non-futon beds, but the lower platform could be cleaner. The friendly staff goes above and beyond, even offering complementary valet parking upon arrival, though a bit more warmth would make the service even better. The location is excellent, right by Lake Kawaguchiko and with easy access to attractions. The dining experience, while enjoyable, could use more high-quality options. The hotel provides great facilities to enhance the stay.

Staying at this ryokan was a delightful experience overall. The rooms with tatami mats and futon beds offered a traditional touch, and the balcony provided a stunning view of the lake and Mt. Fuji, although they could use some updating for the price paid. The service was exceptional, with incredibly polite and helpful staff going above and beyond to create a warm environment for all guests. The location was ideal, offering easy access to various attractions and the calming presence of the lake. The dining experience, while not perfect, provided a real taste of the local cuisine. The facilities were sufficient for a comfortable stay.

The hotel was lovely, especially the private bath which we booked as we both have tattoos and didn't want to offend anyone in the public baths. It's a lovely hotel, very friendly, and well-located. However, it was in need of painting.
